Probably true but he's got the concern trolls here all in a tizzy. The concern trolls never learn. Every tidbit from the unreliable MSM is seized upon by them as a sign that "Trump has really done it this time" and they are sent into a frenzied tailspin.

If I were to guess, I'd say that this isn't Trump floating trial balloons, this is the MSM messing with Trump.

It could be that some reporter took a vague comment a,pumped it up and put the story out there to box Trump in so that he either looks like he's breaking a campaign promise, or his team is in disarray and can't get their stories straight.

It's all about trying to split Trump from his base before he takes office.
