It had all the trappings of a high-level rapprochement: President-elect Donald J. Trump, now the nation’s press critic in chief, inviting the leading anchors and executives of television news to join him on Monday for a private meeting of minds.
On-air stars like Lester Holt, Charlie Rose, George Stephanopoulos and Wolf Blitzer headed to Trump Tower for the off-the-record gathering, typically the kind of event where journalists and politicians clear the air after a hard-fought campaign.
Instead, the president-elect delivered a defiant message: You got it all wrong.

The ‘media’ has been manipulating elections at all levels for years, and many Americans have suffered as a result...the members of the media can’t rot in hell long enough for their lies.

Case in point: Cronkite and Vietnam. How much damage did his lies and decision to shill for the Communist cause inflict ? How many of our people died and how many innocent Vietnamese subjected to slavery, tyranny and murder by the Communist criminals capturing South Vietnam ?
Another, Murrow and Sen. Joe McCarthy. Rather than investigate the validity of his claims of Soviet Communist infiltration and subversion of our government for a quarter century, he and his cohorts set out to destroy the person who dared expose this menace seeking to destroy our country instead (and later vindicated by Soviet records as being true).
The damage these Communist (and they are) sympathizers in the media has done to this country and around the globe has been incalculable.

The media gave us Zero for eight long stinking years.
So they dial it up from a hostile 8 to a hostile 9. No biggie and last I saw something like 75% of Americans don’t trust them anyway. The MSM is a dying business model mostly because of bias. They are incapable of learning from their mistakes. Don’t believe your own BS.

The entire problem with the media that was Deeply Suspected before, but confirmed with all doubts erased by the WikiLeaks. They actually Colluded with the democrat party to fix the presidential election. And they have been doing it for Decades without any fear of discovery or prosecution. They grew so powerful and so comfortable with that power that they wielded it fearlessly without embarrassment or even a hint of remorse.

I like that quote. I would like to see those kinds of intellectual jabs from Trump as well. Not just adjectives like dummy, stupid, crooked, fake... ect.
Trump just tweeted that he cancelled today’s meeting with the “failing NYT” because they changed the terms and conditions of the meeting.
He shows every sign of having the backbone that we have been wanting to see in Republicans for ages. Awesome!

In an earlier report of this meeting I read that Raditz was at the meeting and, without naming names, Trump referred to a “journalist” who had been a Presidential Debate moderator who cried on air at the election results. God, I love the way he acts!!!
Deeply disagree. In this case, they must work with him, that's what he's telling them. Or, they can not work at all, which is what the Youtube video was telling them.
If both sides of an argument are constantly required by arbitrary etiquette to hand out olive branches, an unscrupulous side will use that (as Alinsky instructs) ... the dance will continuously descend towards the level of lowest over time, and the lowest is always rewarded and therefore strives to go lower. That's how the left has managed to drag America to where it's gotten ... appeasement and compromise.
