Start with Koskinen at the IRS and work down from there.
>Anyone accessing porn, personal shopping or whatever should be fired.<
.
That’s the normal policy in most private businesses.
I found that to be true at USPS too.
More winning!
It is hard to fire the rank and file government employees, but NOT the managers. Managers are left easy to fire so higher ups can blame them for disasters. Clean out the management, promote from within, then fire again if they can’t do the job.
The single most effective step Trump can take to reform the federal bureaucracy is to rescind JFK’s executive order allowing federal employee unions. Procedurally its the easiest thing to do, Congress is not needed to be involved since its an executive order. Everything else in regard to the federal bureaucracy is “deck chair re-arranging”!
It’s also a huge step in undercutting federal bureaucrat interference in the political process aka Lois Lerner!
About time slackers are leaches on the back of the tax payer.
The issue is: there is no method to weed out the truly patriotic that care about the taxpayer and have the national interest in view before all other things. If there was such a method, government would change on a dime.
If someone could come up with a way to vet civil servants on that standard.....whoa....Nelly.
Hes in charge of the EEOC also
“firing federal employees can be long and cumbersome because of civil service procedures”
42% of these folks plan to leave anyway. So we’re about half-way there right off the bat.
Look at it this way: these useless eaters aren’t being let go because they sit at their desks all day and look at porn on their computers. No. Not at all.
Think of it as a RIF: reduction in force. RIF is standard federal personnel practice in our armed forces, and we’re talking about people who risk life and limb for their country.
It’s not that these federal apparatchiks, burrowed into the body politic as tightly as ticks, are bad employees (ahem), we just don’t need to pay them good salaries and benefits to sit there like lumps and take up space 9-5, M-F—when they aren’t supporting their sponsor `rats.
Yes-Haw. It’s way past time that the 40% who watch porn all day because there is nothing to do should be fired. In fact, every agency should be cut that much for the good of the country. The federal government wouldn’t have 5000 new regulations every year if so many employees didn’t have to justify their fat salaries.
Clearly not an unbiased article.
I agree totally-I went to work in a state job right out of college-case worker at an MHMR unit-in my opinion, the height of ridiculous was reached one afternoon when the petty cash fund came up missing a dollar and change-the next morning, we all arrived to find the executive director, assistant director, unit coordinator and four accountants rummaging through the desks of all 25 employees of the unit-it took all day, we were all kept after hours until they were done before being allowed to leave for home-I could almost hear the cash register ringing up those tax dollars to pay for that insanity-and the dollar and change were never found. I started looking for a private sector job that week-and resigned the day after I found one...
The EEOC has needed an overhaul for at least the last 20 years.
“You’re Fired!” - I think a better description would be making the government “Lean and Mean!” might be a better description. The less fat the more efficient.
Whether it is industry or government, every department manager tries to build a kingdom by adding more and more employees while more and more waste and ineffiency is introduced.
He’s going to explain what it means by being a “public servant.”
That is as inane as the lie that trade unions protect employee rights!
The only next logical question is who protects the rights of citizens harmed by the incompetent, ineffectual or negligent civil servants!?!?
Just as the question, who protects the rights of employees used, abused or persecuted by the trade union leadership!?!?
First get rid of govt employee unions. It never should have been started.
he can layoff without any problem
