More than a year ago.

Why are we just hearing about it now?

I agreed when we started meddling in Libya, Syria, and other countries, and I still agree today. A stable Syria is better for America, for Europe, and for all decent people, than an unstable Syria. We need to get out.

There was a young girl off the Waikiki beach, surfing....and a shark came up, dragged her down and bit off her arm.
She recovered and is still surfing.
This photo reminds me of her.

She is totally right!!!

We are the ones fomenting this crap in the M.E. and there is no justification for overthrowing Assad.

It’s his effing country and I don’t recall hearing much from him before we Fk’d up Tunisia, Libya, Egypt(which was a dear friend), Left Iraq in shambles(we should have stayed to keep the peace and build the country)

Exactly.
We ought to support him in eradicating the terrorists, “moderate” (no such thing) or “extremist”. At the very least don’t obstruct him and the Russians.

Sorry to confuse the published date.

Here’s why we are hearing about it now.

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/307071-after-trump-meeting-gabbard-says-we-cant-let-divisiveness-destroy-our

After meeting, Gabbard vows to work with Trump

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) vowed to work with Donald Trump on the issues that matter to the American people, following a meeting between the two Monday at Trump Tower.

She did not, however, comment on whether she would join his administration.

Gabbard and Trump met in New York City to discuss U.S. policy in Syria, she said in a statement, though some have speculated she is under consideration to be the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
“President-elect Trump asked me to meet with him about our current policies regarding Syria, our fight against terrorist groups like al-Qaeda and [the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria], as well as other foreign policy challenges we face,” Gabbard said.

“I felt it important to take the opportunity to meet with the President-elect now before the drumbeats of war that neocons have been beating drag us into an escalation of the war to overthrow the Syrian government—a war which has already cost hundreds of thousands of lives and forced millions of refugees to flee their homes in search of safety for themselves and their families.”

We never had any business in Syria, except to do the bidding of the Saudis.
They want a pipeline and Assad stands in the way.

You were fine with it when Odumbass started it...

And I agree with her- who they hell are we to tell Syria they need to change their leader?

IT was ALL FOR THE “ARAB SPRING” so they could let the Muslim Brotherhood take over and form the Caliphate.

ISIS thought MB was too cuddly and nice so they spun of to get it done faster.

Obutthole was just doing all he could to promote the caliphate in the mideast. All his and PIAPS moves there have been to destabilize and allow the extreme muzzie sects to gain control. It was not an accident, but very deliberate.

What is MORE amazing is that she is part Samoan.
Nice to see such a SUCCESSFUL Samoan, even if she's only part Samoan...and not fat.

I agree with Gabbard. A lot of these countries need a dictator to keep things in check. Any of the rebels who might take control of the country would be as bad,or worse, than Assad.
