The U.S. Constitution is not a “living” document, any more than Hoyle’s Rules for Card Games is. The Constitution does have a built-in mechanism for making changes, via Amendments. Therefor, making changes willy-nilly is not easy.
I thank God every day that He guided the framing of the Declaration and the Constitution.
