The emails and phone calls started arriving in Rev. Kenneth Parris’ inbox as soon as the election results were clear.

Like many in the liberal Bay Area, some parishioners at St. James Episcopal Church in Fremont were stunned to learn that a man who has called for mass deportations of undocumented Latino immigrants, favored a ban on Muslim immigrants and bragged about groping women would become the next president of the United States. But while most of his congregation supported Hillary Clinton for president, a solid quarter favored Donald J. Trump, creating a rift that Parris had to try to bridge.

“Any man who causes a baby to die in their mothers womb is worthy of death”

No church of our Lord goes against this.

‘a man who has called for mass deportations of undocumented Latino immigrants’

Do you think they mean ‘a man who has called for the LAWS of our country to be respected and enforced’?

This “divisive election” would have been just as “divisive” if Crooked Clintoonie had won. The Kenyan has divided America by race and filled it with hate. Way to go Bonzo!

Hmmmm, I just heard that the Pope has said, after The Year of Mercy ends, that woman who have had an abortion can be forgiven by many types of Church officials. I am not Catholic, but Catholicism used to be at the forefront in opposing abortion, didn’t it? This Pope certainly isn’t following Church Doctrine, is he?

Killing babies is always their #1 priority. All of Progressivism rides on that.

Foolish me! I always thought all elections were by definition “divisive”! One candidate or the other?

I’m not trying to be obtuse, but... Aside from dividing off the female vote with the “reproductive rights” issue, what exactly is the left’s endgame with making abortion #1 issue?? What are they getting out of terminating their own offspring? So many future rat voters gone? Are they just promoting chaos, mayhem, and evil for its own purpose?

The left’s appeal is to be able to live your life free of bad consequences and generally to make the unpleasant parts of life less so. They attract people who would rather have a minimal level of comfort rather than more freedom and opportunity.

Abortion represents sex without consequence. Once procreation and sexual intercourse were linked together. Thus women by necessity were more choosy. Infidelity and premarital sex were shamed. Now women are empowered to be the biggest sluts they can be. This suits the left’s agenda just fine because they are willing to break up the traditional family in order to buy votes from the public treasury. Even though most single women do not need welfare, they want it available just in case. Many men are also fully on board the abortion rights issue as that means they have easy access to no strings attached sex.

So basically the government encourages it for votes, the women like it because it empowers them and men like it because it sex easy to get.

“...deportations of undocumented Latino immigrants”

Correction. All illegal aliens, no matter what ethnicity. Even those from Alpha Centauri, if they have entered the country illegally.

>>what exactly is the left’s endgame with making abortion #1 issue??

A culture that will kill babies is one that is comfortable in its belief in Naturalism and all the anti-theist worldviews that come from it. Once you believe that people are just star stuff and have no real purpose or eternal future, then you can easily kill anyone, enslave anyone, destroy anyone for any reason. You can lie, cheat, steal as long as it serves your purpose at the moment. A culture that can convince women to murder their own children is one that can do anything it pleases, and Progressivism believes that man cannot “progress” as long as it holds to old social limitations.

And what do we “progress” towards in their ideology? Our own godhood and the right to mold reality to our whims.

Progs are worshippers of Satan, regardless of what they claim. The Prog at your office, at your dinner table, in the pew (or the pulpit even) believes Satan’s lie more than they believe in God’s truth. Killing a baby is nothing to them.
