I hate things like that.” She asks, “Well, what would you say to a supporter of yours who does something like that?” He answers, “Stop it. I’m saying this right now through the camera. Stop it right now,” visibly angry that any one associated with him might harass or intimidate anyone. The whole interview’s now on You Tube.

I think Mike Pence’s even demeanor adds balance to Donald Trump’s tendency to react quickly and bigly. I think it’s a great pairing.
I also appreciate the Vice President Elect’s ability to turn away offense instead of stoking it. That’s a talent in high demand these days.
