Over the years haven’t cemetaries around the country been relocated for all sorts of construction? What’s with the indians and their supporters? Are they special? It seems everything is always “sacred” to them...until they see the money.

Too much misinformation and to many movies. The native Americans in that area and where I live were nomadic and their dead were scattered all over their path. The claim of ancient burial grounds is unsupported unless you want to claim all of the US is ancient burial grounds. To be honest that’s pretty much the claim they want everybody to believe. While the Comanches and Apaches of this area had many camp sites I’ve yet to see an actual burial ground unless it where a reservation has been established. On our big ranch I can show you close to 50 different campsites where I’m guessing they may have been used for extended periods. From what I’ve read on the subject by those who kept record back then such as the early pioneers of Texas they pretty much just hauled a body off and left it to the predators and scavengers to dispose of. They didn’t seem to hold the death of an individual as sacred as they claim to.

No that’s Oneida in Green Bay. HoChunk is more central Wisconsin including Black River Falls, Wisconsin Dells, Madison and two more.

Kesytone XL was a bigger sized pipeline and in political terms it runs to a more loyal Republican voting state (Texas).

The Native Americans and or the Left may object to the big pipeline but it might be interesting for Trump to back out of the little pipeline in favor of doing the big pipeline again.

Canadian oil would have moved on it along with North Dakota’s and Justin Trudeau says he wants to work with Trump while the Alberta Premier, Socialist Rachel Notley, says she doesn’t want Albert’s energy resourced ‘landlocked’ especially with Trudeau imposing the carbon tax on the country in 2018.

This pipeline has been in the works for nearly a decade...it has met ALL the legal and regulatory requirements imposed by all the government bureaucracies involved...it was APPROVED by the Obama administration...it has survived every court challenge because it has followed the law to a tee.

I side with the RULE OF LAW on this one.

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and environmental activists claim the pipeline construction will pollute the nearby water sources and destroy the tribe’s sacred sites.

The tribe is lying. Big time.

You are obviously commenting on a story on which you know absolutely nothing. The DAPL and the people of North Dakota are firmly on the right side on this issue. All the laws and regulations have been followed with great care to the t. The media and the left are manipulating you. I would suggest you do some research on what is actually going on here.

No doubt people in ND would like decent jobs energy development affords as would all Americans and many don’t have decent ones right now.

I’m pro energy development, but I am not pro-crony capitalism.

Sarah Palin chaired the oil and gas commission in Alaska and discovered she was expected to do what GOP political boss Frank Murkowski wanted through his crony Randy Ruederich who served on the board with her.

It was all about the GOP machine doing favors for the energy industry.

Palin called them on it and ended up becoming governor of Alaska and the rest is history.

I see Obama and Paul Ryan and all the rest of the corrupt politicians in bed with DAPL.

Go back to the original bigger pipeline Keystone XL plan on a different route and get Canada involved....

The Keystone pipeline and the DAPL are two entirely different pipelines. I still say you need to do some research. We have billions of barrels of oil here to export. We need this pipeline. Are you on facebook?

They both move North Dakota oil with XL moving Canadian oil as well.

Obama shot down Keystone XL but is allowing DAPL to go through.

As Obama shot down the XL pipeline giving the MSM Left a chance to cheer him and the anti-Trump “Conservative Media” a chance to jeer him, Obama was allowing DAPL to go through to Illinois (his state).

Kelcy Warren, the CEO behind DAPL, gave 50-thousand dollars to a Paul Ryan PAC.

Cronyism is what I see here, regardless of the economic bennies crony capitalists and corrupt politicians always use to sell their deals.

Go back to the bigger pipeline plan that takes a different route than the one the protestors are on.

Trump should make some Native Americans and Leftists happy and smack a Paul Ryan supporter, Kelcy Warren, by shutting down DAPL but then moving onto the bigger, better Keystone XL project.

You have no problem with George Soros funding out of state agitators to come in here and disrupt our lives? I do.

Blame George Soros for everything when I blame Barack Obama and the corrupt inside the beltway Corporatist politicians who will use these aggressive and violent tactics against the Native Americans they didn’t use in Ferguson and other cities when the rioters took to the streets.

We have a de facto militarized national police force on the ground in North Dakota with hundreds of cops drawn in from other states under a state of emergency.

FBI informants mixed in with the protestors just like Oregon and Nevada protests over federal land policies.

Folks in ND need jobs, we all do but crony capitalists in bed with Barack Obama and Paul Ryan shouldn’t be the driving force.

You do realize that these protests aren’t on the reservation or even affecting it? The whole episode is made up. The protestors have no case, none whatsoever. You are truly on the wrong side here.

This is about the indians not getting paid because it doesn’t go through the res but around it (I farm near there). It has turned into a ‘look at us’ protest by the Indians with them shipping people in. Its not on Indian land. They are trespassing on private land, salvage archeology has already been done and nothing found, they have destroyed and vandalized Millions in equipment. It is past time they were shut down.

The land this is taking place on was promised to the tribe in 1851 (Treaty of Fort Laramie).

But the federal government lied to them about that one and it isn’t their land technically anymore.

I’m not sure what the solution to the lie is, but its their land even if now has ‘private owners’ occupying it in 2016.

They don’t have a case. This isn’t about any treaty. It isn’t about water. It isn’t even about oil. It’s out of state agitators raising hell in our state. I hope like hell terror rains down on those fucking assholes.

I lived directly across from the Mandan refinery when you worked there. My dad was an electrician that helped build the refinery. 92 was a very cold year!
