SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department posted a picture on Facebook of a person of interest in the murder of Detective Benjamin Marconi.
The man is wearing a dark-colored jacket and a Spurs hat.
SAPD is asking for assistance in identifying the person pictured.
Anyone with information regarding his identity or his whereabouts are urged to contact CRIME STOPPERS at 224-STOP (7867).

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus identified the slain officer as 20-year veteran Detective Benjamin Marconi
Later Sunday, a Sanibel Police Department officer was shot during a traffic stop. The officer’s shooting was a first for the island police department, according to police officials.
In Missouri, KSDK-TV reported a police sergeant was in critical but stable condition after being shot in south St. Louis Sunday night.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police Chief Sam Dotson said a suspect pulled alongside the officer’s marked car and fired, hitting him twice in his face.

A cop was shot here in Saint Louis tonight, as well. Perp pulled up to him and fired through his window while they both were sitting at a stoplight. They don’t know who did it or as of now. Manhunt underway..
