LOL. I don’t get it. I mean I understand getting messages out, but he’s going to be the leader of the free world! LOL! Hopefully he’ll have little time for it when he takes office.
I remember when SNL was funny. That was a long time ago and it has not been funny since Eddie Murphy left.
Trump was on twitter before he won. People kept saying Trump needs to get off twitter. Trump won. People keep saying Trump needs to get off twitter.
Pretty sure Trump isn’t getting off twitter.
At some point you look as ridiculous as those you are arguing with. PICK YOUR BATTLES! Don’t just look like an ass. Trump’s been borderline the whole campaign. It’s time to stop picking petty little fights over mean ol’ SNL.
This remark is funnier than anything SNL has broadcast since Will Ferrell left.
“Trump is beginning to overdo this kind of thing.”
Nope. It’s a brilliant tactic to focus the enemedia on reporting useless shit while President Trump works in the background assembling one of the greatest team of people to ever run a government.
He said he was going to leave if W ever became President. Still waiting.
“I hope Trump never stops tweeting. That practically fossilized media dinosaur Leslie asked him about it. He said can reach 28 million people so when the media is unfair he can fight back. He took his campaign message directly to the people, and with his social media reach has an great connection directly to the people.”
Exactly!
President Trump needs to keep tweeting to ALL of us in real time when he has something important he wants we-the-people to hear. President Trump does not need the dying dinosaur enemedia to act as information conduits between him and us, filtering his words to us through their Goebbelesque propaganda reality-distortion fields.
You don't watch any prime time TV, do you?
“hey why dont we come up with an alternative to SNL?”
I’ve been advocating that for years. Something called “Friday Night Live” and on early enough working folks can stay up and watch it.
It would run on our new Conservative Network Channel (CNC).
I’ve contributed a number of ideas for ongoing skits for FNL over the years here, and quite frankly, we could do the whole show simply based on the wits that post here. Some of the funniest I’ve ever seen have been posted right here on FR.
Just a few minutes ago I was laughing my arse off over someone who called Starbucks a “snobatorium”. Right there is a skit: a parody version of Starbucks, but with coffee buyers in the form of the Grey Poupon snob, with Rolls Royces pulling up to drive in window, even. You could work it two ways: 1.) the R.R. Grey Poupon guy and the Starbucks “Barristas” try to out snob each other, ending with the “highly skilled barrista” simply pushing one button on an automated machine that looks exactly like the 1970’s coffee vending machines; 2.) the other way to work it is the snobby Grey Poupon guy trying to deal with high school drop out valley girl (or gang-banger) types not understanding each other a la Wayne’s World driveup hamburger scene, ending with the “barrista” pressing a button on an automated machine that looks exactly like the 1970’s coffee vending machine.
We could even have the Grey Poupon guy as a regular character doing all kinds of things.
Another idea is to have a fake megyn kelly “news” show with a panel of characters modeled after real people; there could be a fake chris rock character, a fake whoopi goldberg character, a fake frank lutz character, a fake Don King character, a fake larry the cable guy character, and the REAL Uncle Si! The possibilities for THAT weekly skit are nearly endless, with ALL of their lines taken from blogs and comments on the Internet, so no actual writing is even necessary.
back when he mattered, i was gonna have a midget playing Robert Reich as a (literal) troll who lived under a bridge who would come out and make ridiculous economic comments.
We could have a Elizabeth Warren Indian character.
this stuff is actually really pretty easy and an actual comedy show form a conservative point of view has never been done, and with President Trump being ascendant right now, this could be a great time to do one.
Well there was "Fridays", with Larry David and Michael Richards, which IMHO was better than SNL.
F off Pal. This is who Trump is. I bet you were spewing this kind of BS about him over a year ago. I must admit it is hard to figure out who is the larger concern troll on this thread - you or Hildy.
Great stuff
