Were Supreme Court justices EVER on the table to be filibustered? Has everyone been reading this wrong. Just a curiosity in my head.

From: http://blog.constitutioncenter.org/2016/10/is-the-supreme-court-filibuster-in-play-in-2017/

Three years ago next month, Senate Democrats used the “nuclear option” to kill the filibuster for many Senate motions, but they left the option intact for Supreme Court nominees.

The Dems used the "nuclear option", if they filibuster Trump's candidate the Republicans should as well. (If they have any b.lls)

Are you kidding me? This is the party that invented ‘borking’. I’m sure they’re going to dust of Patrick Leahy who will be ‘deeply troubled’. McCain will probably join him.

Robert Bork. Teddy Kennedy blocked his nomination and almost destroyed his career.
