I don’t believe this is correct. A simple majority to confirm an appointment but 60 votes to end any filibuster on the nomination.

Someone like Obama would have precious few federal records that the feds could ‘unseal’. I would imagine Hawaii, Occidental College, Columbia, etc, have long since destroyed their Obama records to the best of their ability. A US president would have no authority over them in any case.

This is how I feel about “term limits.” They are only ever used against good men who are fighting on our side. Term limits will be trashed as soon as the Dims have a majority ahain!
