Calling on North Carolina political experts. Why is this race is even close? Trump clearly won, so why not McCrory?
I was hoping that the culturally conservative voters would strongly side with Governor McCrory on the bathroom issue and oppose the arrogant overreach of the Obama Administration and the those stupid liberal musicians and sports organizations who boycotted.
The result was anomalous, doesn’t make sense. The left targeted McCrory because of the HB2 transsexual bathroom thing, wanted to defeat him more than Trump, or so several have said. Look for those anomalous votes, for Trump but not McCrory, and analyze them. Some will be legit but many won’t, in my opinion. And, start with Durham County, I don’t care what the county board says, it’s a Dem county, their first nature is to be liars about voting irregularities.
