I had thought slicing off four months would mean more lives saved than a mere 13,260 in 2012 numbers. So you are right. Not enough!
In 2012 there were about 1,020,000 abortions nationally.
The good news is (if you can use that term here) that in 2013 there were 983,000...
...and in 2014 there were 954,000.
Public awareness accounts for this drop in numbers (I think). Things are moving in our direction, although at a snails pace.
What this means is that about 2,000 fewer abortions are taking place each month. (2012 to 2014)

Since abortion became legal those in support of it that I was around were young girls/young women say 16-35. I have noticed the young women I know now are strongly against it regularly posting anti-abortion messages on Facebook and openly debating the issue with anyone that disagrees. I think the tide is turning in a big way. I sure hope so.
