A Texas television reporter is out of a job after she criticized President Obama and praised President-elect Donald Trump on her personal Facebook page claiming the country went downhill under the outgoing commander-in-chief.
Scarlett Fakhar said she was recently canned from her local news gig at Fox in Houston for posting last week that she was happy and relieved over Trumps unexpected White House win.
Fakhar had said in the post, which has since been deleted, that Obama made the entire county hate one another and claimed God had a hand in the election. She also said she could barely sleep from how happy and relieved she was after Trumps victory over Hillary Clinton.
Fox 26 Houston fired me today for expressing my conservative views on my private Facebook page, Fakhar posted Thursday. That is all I will say for you. But I want you to know how much your support has gotten me through this. God bless you all.

Good job.
what is irritating is that if you watch closely, or even not so closely, you can see the extreme liberalism that pervades local “news” reporters.
they never find people critical of obama. they give ample attention to anyone who hates a conservative.
their twitter feeds are ripe with liberalism, too.
I hope so; the liberals want to go unchallenged after promoting this Kenyan-Indonesian fraud that has been destroying our country, let’s give it right back to them at every turn of the screw.
Seen it many times. If two leftists hold protest signs on a corner they are given lavish, positive coverage. While Tea Party rallies that attract hundreds are ignored.
I gave up watching the local bimbo-talking-heads all happy and cheerful when talking about Comrade Hillary.
And then excitedly dishing out any fake trash they could dig up on Trump.
All seemingly aimed at an audience with an average I.Q. of 62 and all the analytical abilities of Neville Chamberlain.
It’s not often I’m dumbstruck by an exotic look.
Consider me dumbstruck.
Half Egyptian and wholly hot...
Incredible.
With a name like Scarlett Fakhar I think she is a southern muslim : )
This is the tv stations loss.
BTW why are they looking at anyone’s postings on the internet. Kinda creepy. The person who has time to do this on the job should have been the one fired.
She’s a good reporter. Had potential to move to an anchor chair in fairly short order. Fox 26 screwed the pooch on this one.
I want osamabama to wind up like Kwame Kilpatrick, maybe like Marion Berry.
yummie!
Works for me; especially Kwame Kilpatrick.
I think old Kwame was an amateur compared to Barry Soetoro.
Her bosses would have rather seen total lies praising Obama and Hillary than the truth about Trump.
Journalism is dead. There are few, very few, students of the art and ever fewer practitioners. Whether is be from the Left or the Right, it is all mostly propaganda and opinion.
Every liberal is a totalitarian thug.
Fux News is wholesale liberal these days.
‘OBJECTified: Donald Trump’: An Exclusive & Revealing Interview with the President-Elect
Tune in Friday at 10:00pm ET on Fox News Channel as we bring you a revealing hour-long interview with President-elect Donald J. Trump.
In OBJECTified: Donald Trump, TMZ’s Harvey Levin explores keepsakes in the billionaire’s Trump Tower suite to reveal new details about the soon-to-be 45th President. Mr. Trump tells the story behind photos, letters, trophies and other cherished mementos acquired throughout his life.
Levin said on “Fox & Friends” (video below) that there were many things that he learned about Trump in the interview that left him “stunned.”
The exclusive interview, which took place in September, traces Trump’s life from a 3-year-old boy living in Queens, to a family tragedy that still resonates with him, to an unfulfilled dream of becoming a Hollywood movie mogul. Plus, he’ll look back on the advice from a former President that planted the seeds for his successful 2016 campaign.
I hope Mr. Trump offers her the press secretary gig!
Trump needs to hire her.
Fakhar?. . .absolutely!
