I agree with your sentiment but i think there are some friendly nations where experience may be less important. Whats to know about Israel? They are a nation surrounded by other nations that either hate them or at best are agnostic towards them. There don’t seem to be any real intricacies involved. Hey Obama put an absolute moron like Caroline Kennedy in as ambassador to Japan and nothing untoward has happened there.
Because Israel is likely to forgive and forget any minor blunders he’d make and the talent pool of those that do have the experience and *aren’t* corrupt leftist f*cks is both very small and better used elsewhere.
