ROBERTS COUNTY, TX (KFDA) -
A small town in the Texas Panhandle is having to deal with some unwanted attention after being dubbed the "Most Pro-Trump county in the Nation."
Though the election is over, voices of supporters for both parties remain loud and clear.
But the small town of Miami is being criticized for how they voted. More than 95 percent of Roberts County voters cast their ballot for President-Elect Donald Trump, the highest of any county in the United States.

If I go, I'm going to Carthage. Northeast Texas. That's the place.
Was there a drop off in 16?
How many in Ohio, and Penn went 100+% for the Indonesian?
Big deal. 92% of blacks ACROSS THE ENTIRE NATION voted Democratic.
They expected Hillary voters?
There is a Miami (”Miama”), Oklahoma, too. (In our northeast corner.) :-)
Miami’s a neat little town. My family almost moved there in the 70’s.
But it’s in the panhandle of Texas...WAY up there.
And as they say in winter, there’s nothing between it and the North Pole but a barbed wire fence.
And it’s down.
Excellent!
Been years, since I had a real vacation, and I’m ready for one!
Always wanted to do a musical tour of Texas/Ok and follow some of the ole cattle trails. I have family just moved to Wichita Falls — follow Chisum trail north to Ks, take a left for brief diversion to Colorado, then to Pampa and Little fields.
Roberts County, most patriotic county in the country is perfect stop in the journey.
No where would I feel better spending my dollars on vacation!
Ever notice on the national election maps that most of the Indian Reservations vote democratic, EXCEPT THOSE IN OKLAHOMA!
Criticized because 95% of the town for for Trump? 100% of me voted for Trump. What is anyone criticizing?
I made a note of it. If I move to Texas, I know where to go.

Same here. I’ve long considered moving to Texas.
Miami is pronounced Miama. A heads up for ya. :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I found out, rather quickly that Gatesville, Texas was pronounced Gatesvul. Same with Blytheville, Arkansas, Blyvul.
Miama , Dade County , Florida, was originally a Fort Dallas.
My Birthplace, 09/21/1935.
Asheville, NC is pronounced “Aishvul” by people who are actually from there, which is to say almost nobody in the city limits pronounces it that way.
The Texas/Florida overlap is impressive.
And by the way there is no “i” in Lubbock; Iraan, Texas is pronounced Ira An; and the people in Burnet will tell you quick: It’s “burn it” durn it can’t you learn it.
You might also consider Oklahoma. For the second election in a row, there wasn’t a single blue county in that state.
I like both states, and I’ll keep both options in mind. A lot can change in five years.
The exclusive interview, which took place in September, traces Trump’s life from a 3-year-old boy living in Queens, to a family tragedy that still resonates with him, to an unfulfilled dream of becoming a Hollywood movie mogul. Plus, he’ll look back on the advice from a former President that planted the seeds for his successful 2016 campaign.
