I think it’s idiotic to be appointing Republican Senators to any Cabinet positions. We simply can’t take a chance on squandering our Senate Majority!

ubama already showed what the DOJ can do with or without the Senate. When ideologues like Janet Reno, Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch are AG’s they just about do whatever they darned well want to.
Even constrained by an honest respect for the rule of law, Sessions as Attorney General, can do much more to enforce the CURRENT AND EFFECTIVE immigration laws, than he could ever do as a Senator from Alabama (who always had to overcome weak RINO’s and the Gang of 8 enablers.).

Totally agree. These are precious political assets that we can ill afford to lose. The Senate can make or break presidential agendas. I blame the GOP for not grooming younger men and women to fill seats. Why do the damn Democrats know how to play political football and we look clueless?
