full title..................Don't lock her up: Trump confidante Laura Ingraham says people 'want to turn the page' and says the public doesn't want to spend 'months and months and months' on the Clinton Foundation and Hillary's emails.................................While chants of 'Lock Her Up' reverberated through the ballroom at Donald Trump's election night party in New York City, the president-elect's confidante Laura Ingraham suggested the new administration avoid investigating Hillary Clinton.

'I think there are a lot of people who just want to turn the page and move past this very rancorous time in American politics,' Ingraham said this morning on the 'Today' show.

Ingraham is reportedly on the short list for press secretary, so she made it clear to Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie that she was 'not speaking for the administration' when she said that she didn't think 'most Americans want to spend months and months and month going through what the Clintons did or didn't do at the foundation or with the private server.'

I would like the Trump administration to conduct a full FBI investigation of the possible crimes revealed by Hillary’s emails, including the fact that the emails themselves were on her non-secure server, and then decide like any good prosecutor whether there is a case to be brought with a reasonable likelihood of conviction. Care would have to be taken to keep it from being a show trial or a trial based on the policies that she backs, since the Left will try to politicize it. Certainly, if there is evidence of child pornography and child abuse, that should be investigated in order to determine criminality and likelihood of conviction.

I trust the professionals who wi be brought in by President Trump and Attorney General Sessions to make a non-political judgment.

And use the threat of prison time for Chelsea as leverage to get Bill and Hillary to admit publicly and in writing their crimes in exchange for their pardons and Chelsea getting probation.

I have been concerned that, once elected, the Trump Tenacity and vigor would be bridled a bit as he settles into a comfort zone where “we can all get along.”

I hope this is not his attitude and intent. He has already started to waiver on Repeal and Replace as well as deportation and “the wall”. I sense his positions are already softening. He is talking to the likes of Romney.....

To be fair, none of the news is directly from him, so it could be hopeful preponderance by the media. Please don’t let him slump into into the RINO moderate, make peace protocol.

He said “lock her up.” I want the Clintons out of the way for the good of this nation.

Does this argument work for the guys who inadvertently had classified material about Afghanistan or a Navy submarine on their personal computers? Can they go into court and say that they should not be prosecuted because the country wants to turn the page?

This is EXACTLY why Middle America is so outraged. Politically powerful people like the Clintons and their cronies don’t get prosecuted or sanctioned. She made a fortune off of pay to play through the Clinton Foundation and her Secretary of State job and then had a private server to cover it up. Then she destroyed evidence to avoid being prosecuted.

“Trump should not get personally involved in this, or make a big show of it.
Just put the Justice Department and the courts on it, and let them handle it.
With Trump appointees.”

I believe the FBI is still investigating the Clinton Foundation, so that may carry over to the Trump admin. But I agree, it shouldn’t come off as a personal Trump vendetta against a political opponent - that wouldn’t fly at all.

Take Laura off of the list. This is the same “just let it go” bullshit that dogged GWB throughout his administration, and the leftist dems are banking on Trump to be talked into going along with by all of the RINO synchophants.

I say nail the billary mafia to the wall for anything and everything, and then bury them under the jail.

The leftist democrats would do that, so why don’t we?

who just want to turn the page and move past...Thinking like this what got us to this point in the first place. When it comes to the Clintons, MOVE ON, Move On! Never make them come clean or pay for their crimes, oh NO!

If the rule of law applies to all, and Hillary broke the law, arrest her, try her. And if she’s convicted: LOCK HER UP.

No. This is how she came back from the 90s to haunt us. The Clintons should finally be held responsible for their actions. Turning the page is not the answer.

I like Laura, but, IMO if she really feels this way she is wrong. There are military, and other former government employed people, who are in jail right now that committed a fraction of the crimes Clinton did. If I am their lawyer, I run, not walk to file an appeal based on the non-prosecution of Clinton. If you don’t prosecute her going forward, how do you ever prosecute someone else in the future who commits similar crimes? Bottom line: THE LAW NEEDS TO BE ENFORCED EQUALLY TO EVERYONE!!!!

A person with a clear criminal history

A U.S. Senator that did nothing

A Secretary of state that funded and armed terrorist groups

A person that intentionally erased eMails to avoid prosecution

A person who came very close to becoming President of the United States, knowing how evil she was

A person with over 40 possible felony counts in her public life

Yes, lets just let her walk off into the sunset.

Good freakin grief.

Who could we actually arrest and look in the eye, knowing we let a person like this skate on all her treachery?

Book er Dano!

Can’t wait to see this person dance the perp walk.

Exactly. The increasingly, glaringly obvious fact that some people are above the law is WHAT GOT TRUMP ELECTED!

Hillary, and maybe even Bill need to be thrown in jail if they are found guilty of a crime (or multiple). Why should the law not apply to them as it does for the rest of us? Why would anyone suggest this? Yes, we want to turn the page on the Clintons. Let’s start by prosecuting them for breaking the law.
