WASHINGTON – With Nancy Pelosi facing a challenge within her own party after House Democrats’ disastrous election results, the NRCC would like to offer its full support to the embattled former Speaker of the House.
Under Nancy Pelosi’s leadership, House Democrats squandered their majority by forcing through unpopular legislation like Obamacare, of which Pelosi famously told us, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” After her party’s devastating 63 seat loss in the ensuing 2010 election, Pelosi miraculously maintained her spot as Democratic leader, which, predictably, led to the largest Republican majority since the 1920s.
Former Speaker Pelosi has also established herself as the world’s worst election prognosticator. Since her relegation to the minority, Pelosi has repeatedly assured reporters, cycle after cycle, that a Democrat majority is right around the corner, only to be soundly defeated each time.
“No single person deserves more credit for House Republicans’ historic majority than Nancy Pelosi,” said NRCC Communications Director Katie Martin. “Under Nancy Pelosi’s leadership, House Democrats have become completely irrelevant, and there is no better way to ensure that remains the case than by keeping her as Minority Leader. The NRCC offers its full support to Nancy Pelosi as she attempts to fend off this challenge to her failed leadership from within the ranks of her own party.”
Democrats have done terribly the last 4 elections for US House.
Pelosi has been GREAT for Republican US House candidates. I pray to God they don’t do something smart like replace her with a White guy from a blue collar Ohio district, that would be bad.
Please. More Pelosi. We will all love seeing her meltdown.

You go, girl. With Pelosi as minority leader in the House, and Shumer in the Senate, Ellison as Chmn of the DNC and Obama promising to rebuild and remake the DNC in his own image ... what more could we ask for ? Michelle in 2020!!!
That's essentially what Mark Levin said on his nationally syndicated radio show last night. (He also "endorsed" Schumer for Senate minority leader and Ellison for DNC chairman for similar reasons.)

The progressive nutters/berners want Ellison in the DNC role. Now granted it’s mostly behind the scenes gruntwork he may well excel at, but a Black Power Muslim Congressman for a high profile role? Seems like an out of touch move we should be rooting for.
Howard Dean, who surprisingly did a good job previously, wants the job again. He brings up the point that it’s a full time job and Ellison has no plans of leaving the House.
For the record the nutters did NOT want Schumer, one leftist new media you tube channel calls him a “neoliberal nightmare”. LOL.

I’m rooting for Ellison and hoping that no one (on our side or theirs) highlights his affiliation with Farrakhan and the Muslim Brotherhood, in particular his past anti-Semitic comments. That would be an enhancement to his resume in many Rat quarters, but might not sit well with the big money trial lawyers and Hollywood crowd.
