Cruz’s training, experience, and temprament is more suited to Scotus. Running DOJ is a big administrative job and requires prosecutorial skils, Cruz has never run anything.
Cruz does not have temperament to bo on SCOTUS. That calls for someone who is likeable and persuasive. Ted had no friends in the Senate and would have none of the court.
