Reaaaaaaaally smart move by Trump. Although I wonder how much trouble he might be having in staffing up if hes reaching out to Trumpers least favorite Republican for a job.
NEWS from @PrestonCNN Trump meeting with Mitt Romney this weekend to discuss governing and possible Cabinet post #2016
Deirdre Walsh (@deirdrewalshcnn) November 17, 2016 Could be that this is just symbolic outreach to his critics in the GOP, as todays meeting with Nikki Haley probably is, and nothing more will come of it. Even if so, thats smart. Building goodwill among traditional Republicans will buy him a unified party for awhile and keep his critics on the right quieter for longer than they otherwise might have been. And its a shrewd way of signaling that he intends to govern in a more statesmanlike way than he campaigned. Romney gave an entire speech arguing against Trumps candidacy earlier this year and then pointedly refused to endorse him this summer, and now Trumps going to consider him for a job on grounds, presumably, that grudges cant be held when it comes to getting the best people for the job. To repeat: Smart. Makes me wonder how long itll be before he offers Hillary an ambassadorship.

Garbage worker? Or garbage?
What an awful thing to say about Democrats! Even they have more dignity than to accept a POS like Romney.
I didn’t vote for trump in order to give any kind of power to the pro-abortion liberal Willard...
Trump doesn’t need Willard in order to so call “unify” the party...
He would lose his base if he offered anything other than directions to Willard’s fav country, China...
Given how hard Willard worked to elect Zero in 2008, 2012 and for Hillary in 2016, that President-elect Trump would reward him for his acts.
Unifying the party????? Did you not get the message? The Establishment GOP-E are politically dead as a doornail. People are fed up over being betrayed constantly by the elites of both parties. Let the GOP PURGE the materialist $$$$$$ uber alles polo club crowd once and for all. They have been our albatross forever. Let them become Demonrats since Demonrats in GOP drag is all they are. Go to the ghetto and the barrio and working class precincts to find their replacements. Make our political party (GOP or whatever) look like the US military at war. Who was the last Bush to be found in the trenches in a war? 17 year-old Poppy Bush who was shot down as a bomber pilot off Iwo Jima. The Bushes were still rather (upper) middle class. Better yet, who was the last POS Romney to serve in combat? None, they always decide to get deferred for "missionary duty" for the LDS whenever there is a war.
IF Moral Monster Mitt Romney is somehow, NOT "the worst guy in the world," I want to hear the names and credentials of other nominees. Willard is an unnacceptable POS and an embarrassment to anything and anyone he touches.
Not to change the topic but I would love to see Col. Ralp Peters find a spot in the Trump administration.
Proud supporter of Virgil Goode here.
Romney will get NO job in a Trump administration.
Romney was making public comments negative about Trump AFTER the nomination was settled.
If Trump took a meeting with Romney it was just so he could tell him NO to his face.
Peters voted for Hillary and was very vocal about it.
romney shouldn’t be in ANY administration...let alone that of Trump.
Wouldn’t be my choice.
Mark Levin is going to go crazy - and not in a good way ...
Reap what you sow.
or..... trump is going to tell Mitt..... screw with me and I’ll kill you
I’d say Ambassador to Libya, but that job is for Hillary.
Oh dear God I hope not. Romney and Cruz would be two of the few that would make me question Trump. Both need to go away
Romney is a dishonest businessman. I know that firsthand.
Kerry also speaks fluent French. He would be a good choice as ambassador to one of the francophone countries in Africa, like Rwanda, Burundi, or Togo.
Both!
