In the original Shooter (Mark Wahlberg as actor) the Presdient was not shot - a foreigner was. In the USA Network show (Mark Wahlberg as Director) we don’t yet know if the President was shot, or the minister from Ukraine (?) who was also with him.
A key hint is in the TV show - Bob Lee (the star) tells FBI agent Memphis, that he did not shoot the President (just like the move) and that is important in the movie because it wasn’t the President who was shot. It was part of Memphis’ concerns that this was all a set up.
I would not worry about the Mark Wahlberg show which was shot last year anyways, back when Hillary! was still supposed to win.
Ha! It’s been so long since I’ve watched the TV alphabet networks I didn’t even know this show existed. I also use any newspaper that gets accidentally thrown in my driveway right into the recycling unread, or as a way to starting fires in my fireplace.
Now I’m in the middle of cancelling cable TV, so I’ll be even more impervious to their propaganda. I’ll keep the Internet, but no Facebook for me.
I won’t miss the rest of the garbage and anything I hear about word of mouth or on FR that’s worth watching, I can stream from the Internet. Luckily I don’t care about televised sports (I love seeing my kids and now grandchildren playing sports).
I hope a lot of people do the same and these worthless “journalists” are forced to go away and find a real job.
We give them so much power by watching. Sad.
