COLUMBIA -- Lt. Gov. Henry McMaster told The Post and Courier on Wednesday that he and Gov. Nikki Haley are being considered for cabinet positions in the administration of President-elect Donald Trump.
McMaster said Haley is being considered for several cabinet posts including secretary of state. McMaster, one of Trump’s earliest statewide political endorsers, said the daughter of Indian immigrants could provide a fresh set of eyes of foreign affairs.
He said the Trump campaign is looking at him as attorney general, and that he has been speaking with the transition team.

Nikki Haley is a politically correct squish. Hire her as the official lemonade maker for tea party meetings. Trump could also put her in charge of dead Indian elephants that wash ashore at Charleston.
You have to be ready for that side because it will show itself. Ivanka was clearly a Dem prior to this. Her husbands side of his family was Dem. His Uncle Murray was Republican..one of the many feuds between murray and charles Kushner
Trump is the right man for the job for right now even if we don’t like some of what he will end up doing
McMaster who is Lt Governor is awesome. He was the only SC politician to endorse Trump from the start. I was hoping he would run against Lindsey Graham in 2018.
Nikki Haley is why its a bad idea to put anchor babies into positions of power.
She needs to get naturalized before she gets deported.
What is not publicly known is that Trump will be basing his final decision on comments posted at Free Republic.
