Occasional anger would have served GWB well during his tenure. Instead he let the Dems whack at him like a Piniata.

He should go away. For 8 years he said nothing while Obama wrecked the nation and the world. Now he is going to warn everyone about Trump. Sorry I ever voted for this guy.

Worked pretty well for FDR and Truman - both vastly superior men and politicans to Bush.

I’m coming to the conclusion that some of what the left said about W when he was in office - specifically about his intelligence - is true.

"anger shouldn't drive policy"

Has GWB said this to anyone else or is he just eight years out of sync wth the rest of the world?

This is the former RINO-in-Chief pushing for more snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Guess what, Dumb-Ya? You just made me angry!

While he is not brilliant, I think this shows more that he is not - and never was - a conservative.

As far as I can tell, he was a better and safer pilot than McCain (which is distinct from his suspension for failure to satisfy the medical examination requirement in 1972).

He flew the Convair Delta Dagger F-102, a supersonic fighter. One does usually have to master a certain amount of technical and mathematical ability before being allowed to fly a jet like that.

If he had been really stupid and unteachable, then I think he would have been assigned an easy desk job, regardless of his lineage.

I considered my FAA civilian written examination more difficult than either the SAT or ACT.

(For the record, I got 99+%ile on both college entrance exams across the board, but got “only” 86% on the ground school flight exam. Of course, I have known more than one good and smart pilot who failed the written the first, and even the second, time he took it.)

No, I think the real problem is that Bush, like Daddy, like Grandaddy, is a treacherous globalist.

Why did we invade Iraq if not for anger at Saddam Hussein.

Irrefutable truth. Good call. I don't even accept the premise to begin with in regards to "anger driving (President Trump)policy." That's the crux of the leftist talking points. Please President Bush go back to painting.
