That was a false accusation. Several months ago I challenged anyone to come up with an example of where Ted Cruz lied about something. Every time someone posted an example, I shot it down. Nobody came up with anything that would stand the light of scrutiny as being a lie Ted Cruz told.
Of course I got suspended for several weeks as a result of that thread, (I guess they thought it was disruptive) so I'm not sure how much leeway I have to revive that discussion. Perhaps now that Trump is president, there will not be so much objection to such a discussion.
But the "Lying Ted" thing was a deliberate political tactic to win the primary, and it really had no basis in truth.
Cruz is not a natural born citizen, consult your tag line.

Yes, defending a good solid conservative Senator can get one suspended around a conservative website.
And they still can’t come up with an example. But they’ll still insist on saying it.
Remember, after the primaries, Trump called Ted Cruz a good guy.
