CHEYENNE – With only about two months until the next Congress convenes, Republican Rep.-elect Liz Cheney is already starting her transition to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Formal orientation for freshman lawmakers begins next week, and Cheney will also be working with outgoing Rep. Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyoming, as part of the changeover.

Liz is an expert on nothing. Just another political kid who inherited a career. Trading on daddy’s name, didn’t change her name when she got married. Never lived in Wyoming until time for office. Daddy helped her with her thesis which was about foreign policy.

No thanks. Glad Enzi beat her for Senate.

Trump is not God Emperor of All Americas.

He is, however, Topkek.

We’ll see what she does in congress. Do NOT be surprised when she is all about AMNESTY and TPP. She is WAY too close to Cesar Conda, the immigration lawyer/lobbyist who was her dad’s domestic policy asdvisor. He owns Rubio and Ryan...brought them both to DC to push his latino agenda.

LIZ CHENEY. Take a good look...this is the face of GOP elitism!

“Iirc LIz is a ME expert. Hopefully there will be a position to use her knowledge”
She spent a LOT of $$$ and basically messed up what she touched. Her husband, Phil Perry is the WORST. He was also in the Bush Admin and screwed that up. He is Monsanto’s head lawyer and uses that revolving DC door well.

[snip]Cheney endorsed a draft of a new Iraqi constitution.

The lady flat knows how to spend our money in places that hate us and I recall that many of us were unhappy with parts of that Iraqi constitution which instituted Islam as a state religion and called universal health care a ‘right’ among other questionable ‘rules’ and ‘rights’ .

Liz held an important 2nd position at State Dept. She is typical of the people retired Rep. Duncan Hunter called “Knuckleheads at the department of State” during the time she served. This is also the same time when Bush’s State Dept. allowed ‘refugees’ like the tens of thousands of Somali’s and others generously brought to our country, who now cause so many problems.

One has only to remember the recent history of those lovely Chechan Boston bombing brother refugees, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to know how many bad apples the State Department ushered in while Liz Cheney was close to the helm.

Cheney signed on in June 2007 to serve as one of three national co-chairs for Fred Thompson’s 2008 presidential campaign. Another co-chair was Spencer Abraham, who once hired Cesar Conda as his chief of staff as he now holds the same position for Marco Rubio. After Thompson dropped out of the race, Cheney announced that she would work for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, serving as a senior foreign policy advisor. Cesar Conda also worked as an advisor for Romney in his last run and was a mentor to Paul Ryan.

She did not take hubby’s name. Does hubby and family still live in VA?

Why could she not run in state where her family lives?

Because she is using the family name for mileage and the location because daddy lives in WY.

Not much difference than Hillary moving from Arkansas to NY to run for the Senate.

A carpetbagger is a carpetbagger. Doesn’t WY have anyone to run or do they need imports?

Many of those applauding this were criticizing recent reports that Chelsea Clinton might run for office.

“She is a great woman.”

WHAT did she do that was great? I can’t believe after this election, that MOST of you are STILL willing to tow that ‘R’ line no matter what the record of these candidates is...LIZ CHENEY IS A RINO ELITIST and EXACTLY the kind of CAREER political hack Trump has TRIED to warn you about!

The guy, Cesar Conda, who is joined at the hip with Cheney is the biggest problem in the GOP that Trump has.

Is this Liz Cheney the wife of Dick Cheney, or is this their daughter?

I agree. She is a very smart person. I still like her dad and will never forget the look he gave Obama during the 2008 swearing in ceremony,

Oh, no. I thought we fought a war to get rid of a monarchy? Why do we have to accept the spouses and children of politicians as our leaders? She’s also a RINO. *sigh* Nothing ever really changes.

Hoping for the best after this election, but wondering what we will get.
