I hope he gets offered Surgeon General. Maybe he’d accept that.

I agree. Carson is bright (well, yeah he is a brain surgeon), but he lacked the administrative experience required to operate an agency at a high level. I am hopeful that he finds some useful way to contribute to the Trump administration, and I'm sure his help would be appreciated. It would be a shame to let his talent remain untapped.

I hope he gets offered Surgeon General. Maybe he’d accept that. Why would he do that? Surgeon-General is a purely ceremonial position. You get to wear a fancy uniform, but there is almost no responsibility and virtually no power to accomplish anything.

Totally agree .... thank you, Dr. Ben for knowing that you’d be in over your head. I suspect Trump will find a way for Carson to make contributions without saddling him with the mess that is HHS. As for Surgeon General, Dr. Ben is better than that position .... and why do we even need it?
