They’re pulling the old worn-out tactic from the DemocRAT playbook, to see if Trump will fold like all the other Republicans in the past: bitch and moan, and demand that Trump “reach across the aisle” to compromise.
I’d expect them to enlist McCain in the effort. McCain will go on the Sunday talk shows to say that choosing Bannon was “a rookie mistake” and that he will “talk with the President-elect” to try to smooth things out” and “help him” choose someone else.
