Who cares. for 8 hellish years he took crap from the feds, DOJ and odumbo at that age. This job will be a cakewalk for Joe. Appoint him for his tenacity and loyalty to our cause.
Salon is just stirring up the liberal masses. I would be very surprised if either man has a senior position in the Trump administration much less a cabinet post.
With the border wall to be built put Sheriff Joe in charge of security details during construction. He can stay at home in AZ too.

I agree that Arpaio could and maybe should have the job. I just think Trump should put Clarke in for the long run and let Arpaio finish his career in the second spot. They would make a great team.
Arpaio is 84. That’s really pushing it for a high pressure job like Homeland Secretary. Let Clarke take the hours and the pressure and give Sherrif Joe his well deserved reward. It would work. I think Clarke is smart enough to make it work.
Great idea. I’d like to see Alcatraz turned into a Fed prison and reopened to house the Witch, her family and treasonous cohorts including the DUMBOS. Strip it to basics of food, water, toilet, shower, and nothing more.

But because of his age and the fact that he just lost his election, I would have to go with Clarke. He'd make a great no-nonesense cabinet member who has shown that he can handle critics of law and order, including the media. Sharp guy.
Maybe Trump can find some other job for his friend and supporter, Arpaio. He deserves to be rewarded somehow for his loyalty to Trump, when many others bailed on him.
Arpaio should be in charge of the deportation effort.
I think putting both of them in there is a good idea. Sheriff Joe can certainly impart much wisdom for a year or two, then Sheriff Clarke can take the reins after having worked together with Sheriff Joe.
Sweet way to wind down a stalwart career for Sheriff Joe.

I am more than fine with Clarke, but after what the DOJ did to Joe, I hope he is in there somewhere. Take that, Holder and Lynch!
