Sheriff Clarke - love the guy & he’d be terrific. Sheriff Joe ... I have to say that the last couple of interviews I’ve seen, he’s been a bit slow out of the gate compared to what he used to be. He’s in his 80’s. As an advisor, he would be good, but the day to day heavy lifting of something like DHS needs to go to a younger man like Clarke, IMO.
It would leave room for a down the road realignment when Christie is cleared. Giuliani will get to go to Homeland Security where he wants to be.
Just gets better and better.
He could be an advisor to Clark.

Sheriff Joe may be old but he single-handedly blocked and fought every federal crap that oDumbo threw at him for EIGHT years.
This job is just going to be too easy for him.
Now there’s an idea. Give Joe the job of deporting all those illegals who he shouldn’t have had to deal with in the first place.
Arpaio is too old. Give the job to Clarke, a super choice, and then give him Arpaio as his number 2 for a few years.
