Republicans are pushing the limits of Congress’s complex budget process to finish up an ObamaCare repeal bill in time for Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The House Budget Committee could bring back its budget resolution from April – which never made it to the chamber floor – to deal an immediate blow to the president’s healthcare law after he leaves office.

The unusual move is among several strategies under consideration to speed up legislation to repeal ObamaCare, which has been a central GOP campaign promise since 2010.

Trump will get more good things for America done in his first 100 days than politicians have for the last 100 years which is really nothing , mostly amnesties, more government , bad trade deals , more loss of freedom , more spending, more regulations , more debt.that’s true with only a few minor exceptions with Reagan and IKe .But Reagan was fooled into signing an amnesty and never did nothing against Japan’s unfair trade practices which Trump was warning about even then in the 1980’s.

"which has been a central GOP campaign promise since 2010."

The Founding States gave Congress the power to override presidential vetos with a 2/3 vote of each House. This is evidenced by the suspected election year stunt by RINO-controlled Congress to override Obama veto of bill to allow 9/11 victims to sue Saudia Arabia.

The problem is that disorganized, low-information patriots have only been able to maintain simple majority control of each House for the last four election cycles.

But it is also suspected that corrupt Congress doesn’t want to be able to impeach and override vetoes in order to protect a lawless, last-term president who unconstitutionally does their dirty work for them.

So Congress arguably made Obama’s dirty work a higher priority than overriding a presidential veto to repeal Obamacare.

Uh, this article failed to point out that the “arcane” budget reconciliation process was EXACTLY how the Dems got obamacare passed in the first place, AND it didn’t take months either as the Dems rammed obamacare through on Christmas Eve. Least anyone forget or be mislead by one-sided articles like this one!

The bill would likely take one or two years before the law is officially repealed. That gives time for Republicans to map out their own approach to universal healthcare, which would likely have to include a transition for the 22 million people who currently have healthcare.

Transition to what? Most of those 22 million have healthcare because the government is subsidizing it. If the subsidies end then what difference will one or two years make? They're going to be on their own so better sooner than later.

Well worth clicking to read the entire article, which does a good job of explaining how and when this could happen.

Well, the Dems pushed the limits of the budget process to pass it. They even dropped the Senate bill lock stock and barrel into a house bill so that they could pretend it originated in the house. All because they were shy 1 vote of the 60 they needed to pass it in the Senate.

Since it passed under budget reconciliation, I don’t see why it can’t be repealed the same way. Good for the Goose, good for the Gander.

Wow, you get a decent president-elect and all kinds of things start falling into line. I’m not about to say they’re suddenly good guys. I think they know the ass-kicking coming if they don’t do their jobs. The new president isn’t going to couch it in the media, he’ll make it known far and wide that these guys suck and will tell just how and why so that it’s irrefutable.
