Hillary Clinton acknowledged on a call with her campaign staff and volunteers on Friday that her election loss had taken an emotional toll. But she encouraged those listening to stay engaged in the political process once the despair of Tuesday passed.
“I’m not going to sugarcoat it: These have been very, very tough days,” Clinton said. “This is a tough time for our country. I think we have seen how people have been reacting to the events of this election and I know we have got to be reaching out to each other to keep it clear in our own minds that what we did is so important. It looks like we are on the path to winning the popular vote, and that says volumes about the importance of your work and the lasting impact it will have.”
Clinton’s comments are the first she’s offered since her concession speech to Donald Trump on Wednesday morning. Then and now, she kept a calm demeanor, not casting blame for the outcome but instead encouraging those listening to move forward constructively. Friday’s call, which The Huffington Post was able to dial into, lasted roughly 15 minutes, interrupted for a few minutes by a tech snafu.
Clinton thanked her backers for the work they put in, calling the campaign “one of the greatest honors of my life.” And she encouraged them to remain politically engaged in the future.

She should be in prison for many, many reasons. Obama will give her amnesty. Her past will not escape her, though. It will forever be in the history books (those NOT written by liberal hacks).

Still no word from her to her rioting supporters, “stop rioting and accept the outcome”
“The events of this election” - nothing extraordinary happened in this election. You lost, that’s it.
These are not “tough times for our country” - no, they are tough times for you.
And “what we did is so important” - what you did is no more important that what any other candidate has done - get over yourself.
Her self-centered, self-aggrandizing words today fit perfectly with her slogan “I’m with her”, and are part of why she lost.
Now about those rioting to support her - she has a responsibility to tell them to stop and to accept the outcome. Yet she does not. Her silence speaks volumes. She claims she will win the popular vote, which is irrelevant, so why mention it? Is she scheming to try to seize office?
Think about it: Other than a spot with that bunch of shrews on "The View," is there any place in the media for Hillary Clinton?
This is delightful. I don’t deserve to be so happy, but I will indulge.

Lady (if I may be so generous), you haven’t had to live under Barack Obama’s soul crushing boot heel these last EIGHT FREAKING YEARS, so shut the hell up!
Believers, continue to pray according to 2 Chronicles 7:14. The LORD has won an enormous battle, but the war is not over. This evil woman, who should be encouraging people to accept the results of the election and not riot, nor try to get rid of the electoral college, is still pulling strings, along with George Soros, in the background. Her merely mentioning the popular vote, is designed to encourage the lawlessness that is going on right now. Even if she were not, “a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands...”, we must work while it is called today. Pray for revival, pray for President-Elect Trump’s safety, that he will have wisdom and FAVOR with all mankind, pray that the enemy is confounded. Pray without ceasing.
She will be back in 2020.
