Well, he’s human. He was not quite on his “turf” yet and in an “unfamiliar” setting and situation. I could see anyone being a bit cautious.

I really believe it doesn't matter who you are..even a Kennedy...that first trip to the WH knowing all of the responsibility and history and gravatas behind it has to be daunting and a little surreal that you managed to get there.

I think that’s exactly it. Trump is trying to create an image of control. He realizes he’s won something tremendous and will have to fit the office.
