Just as the slime media did prior to Trump being duly elected POTUS, media will continue in attempts to sway the sheeple that Trump is not going to do what he said he would do.

This will only get worse as the months roll along.

I'm sure there are still some never Trumper Freepers and Cruizites that will find such stories and post them here.

And maybe even a few Bush Bots still hanging around.

Color Sgt. Bourne: Mr. Chard, sir, patrol's come back.

The Zulus have gone. All of them. It's a miracle.

Lt. John Chard: If it's a miracle, Colour Sergeant,

it's a short-chambered, Boxer-Henry .45 calibre miracle.

Color Sgt. Bourne: And a bayonet, sir. With some guts behind it.

Catastrophic health insurance coverage akin to auto insurance policies is what medical insurance should resemble. If auto insurance was expected to cover every check-under-the-hood, oil change and tire rotation, annual auto premiums would be outlandish. Similarly, catastrophic health coverage should not reflect cadillac prices for volkswagon products.

Health savings accounts should permit annual tax deductible contributions equal to high deductibles and co-pays. There should not be a mandatory gap of $3K between HSA contributions and deductibles.

Many health care providers offer cash discounts to self-pay patients for point of service payment, saving them the headaches and hassles of jumping through insurance hoops.

This is the media yet again trying to undermine Trump. We , or most of us know their narrative here, but sadly there are still a few on here who post the media lies and fall for their propaganda.

GOP alternatives to ObamaCare kept the 26-year-old issue and the pre-existing conditions. Those were the two aspects the majority said they wanted to keep. Those two items are not ObamaCare in any way. But, of course, the libs intentionally misinterpret the discussion.

The only difference is, the Soviet networks did it out of fear of the Gulag.

These assclowns over here are “True Believers”. That makes them worse in my book.

I contend the media has “reported” more in the past two days regarding what they think Donald Trump will do than they have reported in the past 8 years regarding what obama has done.

One of the better working health care systems in the world is Singapore. They use a 2 tiered system where anyone middle class and up opt for the 100% capitalistic system with insurance and people who can't afford it get a crappy medicaid like system with long wait times. It allows full coverage of everyone but with much lower prices across the board. I believe that's the direction Trump is taking us.

Before people get upset about the extra cost to the medicaid system, it's been estimated that around 40-70% of the total medicaid funds are wasted through fraud or illegal aliens. Trump can fix that without too much trouble and expand care to people with per-existing conditions or poor students and the alike.

Add to that the deregulation of the medical system and prices for the middle class will drop like a rock. I have friends in the medical field and they believe that about 7 our 10 bucks that goes into the system is wasted on administration that's required to keep up with federal regulations and mandates. It's the goverment that's causing never ending price increases.

1. Trump makes deals. In the give and take of deal making he will try to make his opening position far enough away from the goal to allow giving up some nonessential things in order to attain the goal he seeks.

2. In my opinion, if you've played the game and had health insurance, then lost it for some reason, a pre-existing condition should not be a disqualify all else being equal. If you didn't get health insurance betting that you wouldn't need it, and you lose the bet, that's a different matter.

3. As to allowing children to stay on their parent's health insurance, if it's merely allowed (for the companies and the families), not mandated, what's the problem? The insurance companies will figure out the appropriate charges.

I suggest he add them to Medicare.
If they had just added the people who couldn't get coverage to Medicare in the first place, rather than this monstrosity called the Affordable Care Act, it would have been so much more, um, affordable!

He’s replacing Obamacare with his plan and retaining some of what many perceive, are the good parts.

Coverage for pre-existing conditions is NOT insurance...imagine if car insurance worked that way...wreck your car, buy a policy, get your car fixed and then cancel your coverage after one month.

Well honestly they can say whatever.

The election is over, and he hasn’t been sworn-in.

They are just sneezing in the wind, because their power is exhausted.

The media is obviously trying to turn Trump supporters against him. Right now CNN is trying to put pressure on Trump to appoint certain people.

One talking head on FOX today mentioned that Obamacare should be dismantled piece by piece, that it would be chaotic to try to do it suddenly in one quick move. Another said most but not all features should be eliminated. There are different opinions on how best to get rid of Obamacare.

Trump was being conciliatory by saying he would "consider" looking at keeping one or both of these two items. He did not commit to anything other than that. He didn't give up on his promise to repeal ObamaCare. This is just more misinformation from the biased media.

He left himself a big backdoor to keep his promise to his voters and never said he had changed his mind, like the media is reporting.

This is exactly what people like about Trump. He's a negotiator. A seasoned CEO. An experienced decision-maker. He will play the media like a fiddle, like he has since he entered this presidential race, and then do what he wants.

Trump is playing his own game, not the media's or the establishment DC folks' game. And they still haven't figured that out yet, even to this day.
