Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) was optimistic about the prospects of President-elect Donald Trump being able to follow through with his campaign promises of a border wall.
Gohmert told “Fox & Friends” co-host Steve Doocy that there has been money already appropriated for the wall and that he was excited about the prospects of Trump “actually following the law.”
“It’s amazing what you can get Congress to do when you lead and push them in the right direction,” Gohmert said. “And actually, you know, we had appropriated money during the Bush administration that didn’t get spent for the wall. So, yeah, it’s going to be great to have somebody that’s actually following the law.”

Hate to say this, but we need to think about doing something at our northern border as well.
Under Trudeau Canada is becoming an open highway for Islamic radicals and illegals from all over the planet.

In a couple of months, the EPA won’t be able to stop a mouse from farting.
I am sure that the amount of money appropriated will build a lot more fence under Trump, frugal as he is, than the rats in Congress ever imagined.
I’m hoping the EPA may get its claws clipped soon.

The wall is a force multiplier so the number of actual agents may be enough.
That money was budgeted to fool us into thinking they were serious about the wall (remember McCain's campaign in 2008, "Build the damn wall!"?) But the Executive branch (Bush and then Obama) never followed through, which I believe was a violation of the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. But then, since Congress wasn't serious about the wall, they let that slide. Corrupt, lying, thieving SOBs all.
And we need to be implementing E-Verify nationwide. Tell every businessman that they need to double check their employees & terminate any that are here illegally & using fake id’s.
In fact, I wish Trump would come out & say: “Those of you here illegally need to return to your homeland by my inauguration date. Failure to do so will mean that you will be charged with a crime when caught & lose your chance to EVER come to America again.”

Louis Gohmert and Steve King can help Pres. Trump tremendously in the house the first 100 days. Put these two guys in charge of immigration.
I would love to see Pres Trump order the military to construct it like was done with the Alaska Highway in WWII. 24/7 until complete. And reassign 1,000 government lawyers to steamroll any attempts to stop it.
Yep. Mexico’s credit is good. Well......we have our ways. Build it. Maybe give them a discount for every illegal immigrant that returns home.
