I think when that wall starts going up, those here illegally are going to have a HUGE “OH CRAP!” moment where they realize that Trump WASN’T just blowing smoke; that he’s actually DOING what he said he would, and that their number is just about up. When that happens, I think we will see a VERY substantial self-deportation movement that will leave us with a comparatively small population remaining to vet out and deal with.
It was happening in my neighborhood in Arizona until the Man-Child President took Sheriff Joe to court. There were "Se Renta" signs popping up all over the place as they self-deported. I would see sheriff's deputies at the Circle K with all of the illegals outside, handcuffed on the ground. They were going after employers and the illegals hanging outside of the Home Depot. The traffic on the freeways eased up considerably. On the I-10, you would see pickup trucks piled up with furniture all heading south towards the border. Crime was going down. And then Obama happened. Within a year they were all returning.
