I think we already have easement rights.

We're not talking about sidewalk but a 50 foot wall. Easements won't cover that.

A wall is not as wide as a sidewalk. I've a high voltage transmission line going across my property. There is only one tower with 4 guy wires that mess up where I can plant a crop: no more than 50 sq. ft. total.

The power company really doesn't USE that much of my land, but there is an easement associated with it.

I can plant under the wires, but I can't build under them.
