Donald Trump is contemplating naming a number of recognizable players from the 2016 campaign to serve in senior White House roles, according to an internal transition document obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller.

The list was provided by a member of the transition team on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the press. Described as a “working” document, it is being used to help the president-elect envision a White House staff structure, the source said. Some people are listed more than once.

It includes names like Trump campaign chairman Stephen K. Bannon, RNC chairman Reince Priebus, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn.

Please, not Bannon.

Bannon is too connected to the alt-right. He proudly boasts of turning Breitbart into a platform for the alt-right, and he describes himself as a Leninist.

To understand why I don’t like the alt-right, check out neo-Eurasianism and The Fourth Political Theory.

These people are not any kind of conservatives. They don’t fit anywhere within even the broadest parameters for the American Right, broadly from Russell Kirk traditionalists to Paulist libertarians. They are hostile to all of us anywhere within those parameters.

While we may have policy differences on issues even among ourselves, we share a broad set of principles. They do not; they don’t even like our principles. Or us.

They were around before Trump, they’ll be around after Trump, and IMO, they’re a problem. I know the president is ultimately the boos, but as Morton Blackwell is fond of reminding us, personnel is policy, and the personnel that an alt-right chief of staff would be likely to want to bring in would be dangerous and completely opposed to our principles and policies.

Sarah would be an excellent choice, and Interior might be just the right job for her.

We’ll get the Keystone pipeline, and she’ll reopen her pet cause of drilling in ANWR.

The media just keeps making up lists.

All one has to do is look at who was on stage...along with his family.

Poor media....Trump is a ponderer first. The Media should print "No News Today" for the next month.

Palin?? I doubt it. My gut..

I think senator Jeff Sessions will be Secretary of Defense. Not only is he well-versed on defense issues, but he knows Capitol Hill and he knows budgeting. Very important. General Flynn might become national security advisor or director of the CIA.

Twitter is saying that DAN DIMICCO has been chosen as the U.S. Trade Representative.

This is YUUUGE....

He is a leading proponent of bringing heavy manufacturing back to America, and how to do it.

Better him than Priebus. Picking Priebus would be the same as picking Jeb Bush.

Again, check out what the alt-right is. They’re dangerous.

Bannon describes himself as a “Leninist”. I don’t want someone like that anywhere near the White House, especially in a job like Chief of Staff.

He could give the job to someone like Newt or to Kellyanne Conway or to any of a number of ohter people. There are choices besides Bannon and Priebus.

Please, no Senators unless a Republican governor gets to name the replacement at least until 2018.

Just heard Roger Stone say that Corey Lewandowski isn’t going to have anything to do in the Trump Administration. He also said that anyone who actually knew anything will not be talking, so this is probably self-promotion from Corey Lewandowski.
