Hillary Clinton Destroyed Her Own Campaign
The Daily Beast ^ | 9 Nov 16 | Betsy Woodruff

Posted on 11/10/2016 3:15:11 AM PST by SkyPilot

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a woman stood in between a row of satellite trucks and a concrete wall outside the Javits Center in New York City—the Hillary Clinton’s “victory party”—sobbing and screaming into her cellphone, “How are we losing?!”

The answer on the other end was received by a wail.

And later that morning, the world learned that despite all the polling, all the momentum, and a second-to-none campaign operation, Hillary Clinton lost to a flaxen-haired maybe-billionaire best known for starring in an NBC reality-television show.

The Clinton campaign had hoped that the glass ceiling of the Javits Center would become the night’s enduring symbol. But instead, its basement cafeteria became a microcosm of the Clinton campaign.

Late into the night, grim Clinton supporters huddled around televisions on folding chairs, watching with blank faces as cable news commentators delivered blow after blow. And when Kelly Clarkson’s “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger” anthem played over the speakers, it sounded more like a taunt than a battlecry. Many supporters didn’t want to talk. Instead, they hunched over their iPhones and beers.

Lani Brandon, an environmental attorney from Attica, New York, drank Barefoot cabernet sauvignon from a tiny plastic bottle as the results rolled in. She volunteered on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, and recalled her response to that loss with admiration.

“Even when she was conceding, she did it with class and elegance,” Brandon said. “This election alone, with him running, it has created—or maybe made people aware of—the hatred that already existed.”

Many were visibly misty-eyed.

“You’ve gotta make it quick,” said New Yorker Frank Capalbo when approached, “because I’m about to break out in tears.”

He loved Clinton for her brain, her guts, and her effectiveness, he said.

The Clinton’s will be slowly stripped of all the money they hold so dear and left to get by on Bill’s pension. If they weren’t so high profile they would be found dead in a ditch. They made some promises to people that take that stuff deadly seriously and don’t suffer being stiffed lightly.

That is not true. They could very well be qualified to work the counter at the Left’s favorite: Starbuck’s, or ask ‘Do you want fries with that order’ working the drive-thru at McDonald’s.

Others here seem concerned that she could run again in 2020 but I don’t see it. For the Crooked One, this is the end of the road.

Hillary's hell is only starting now.

I'm betting some of the donors will be seeking a refund...

The best schadenfreude there is comes from contemplating Illary’s last - LAST - chance at the brass ring going up in smoke because of her slipping on her own decades long slime trail of corruption, venality, meanness, and paranoia. Very tasty. Very tasty indeed.

Watch the clintonistas in office or still at the DNC get turned on. DWS and DB are both out at the DNC and more will get thrown out. Podesta, Lanny Davis, etc will be next. Terry McAwful will be jettisoned in Virginia.

Who will raise to the top at the DNC now? It is in complete disarray. It is in shambles.

Everything she worked and schemed and killed for, all gone. Forever. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving person.

Even beyond her dreams of world dominion, she may lose her earthly riches, too.

Where is the Clintons' cash flow going to come from now? Sure, they have many millions in the bank(s) (in Switzerland, probably).

But how much Bill and Hill will be paid for their boring speeches, after this debacle?

And who would be fool enough to donate to the Clinton Foundation?

Is there a sugar daddy out there who will pay the mortgages on the mansions, like Terry McAuliffe did for them before?

They will have enormous legal bills that they will likely keep racking up for the rest of their lives - and beyond.

As you say ... couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

Did I miss the mainstream media articles in 2008 and 2012 about the disappointed conservatives?

FWIW, CNN reported Creepy Clown Kaine is the future of the Democrat Party.

It’s a head-scratcher.

Nope. She’s not likely to live that long.

And if she does, her health is already so bad, that I doubt she could even function. Look at all the medical support she had just to keep her going for this election. If she can barely manage with all that, she’s not going to do well on her own.

Ed Klein wrote a piece in The Gateway Pundit yesterday. He said the Hildebeast was inconsolable yesterday morning, this was why her so-called concession speech was delayed so long; she was trying to gather herself to get through the speech. She was on the phone with a long-time friend, crying so hard the friend could barely pick out what HRC was saying. Seems HRC blamed her election night failure on James Comey for reopening the FBI investigation and Zero for not campaigning hard enough for her. Typical for HRC, she blamed everyone but herself.

I had heard that. When she came out all smiles yesterday morning I was more than surprised.

I figured they must have had her on something really strong to remain so composed.

Awesome. Can’t wait to see Donna Brazile demoted. I don’t think the Dems dare to kick her out entirely however. Different standards apply.

More likely the Dems will go for an Obama-style redux.

I'm thinking Corey Booker. Oh, he is a totally worthless pol, accomplished less than nothing as mayor of Newark. But that doesn't seem to matter to about half of our electorate.

And I wouldn't be surprised to see the Dem Party start grooming Michelle Obama to run for the presidency.

Clinton almost seems to be under a curse involving stumbling over some man who shouldn’t be underfoot; or some irrelevant, unexpected obstacle gets in the gears of her precision-proud organization.
We see the insatiable Big Dawg ever on the prowl for females; a satyr, repeatedly getting loose and capering through her prim front parlor just when she has company she is striving to impress.
We see Mr. Weiner doing it electronically. Bubba is getting on in years and the last time he was caught in flagrante delicto it was with a dumpy old woman in an airplane in Phoenix.
Now Hillary’s front parlor is breached by a Mr. Johnson. We see him on the ballots, sporting numbers that look very much like the mathematical difference between Trump and Hillary. “T - C = J.”
Yes, she largely destroyed her own campaign. But she’s thinking bitterly of the men who shouldn’t have been in her path. Obama in 2008. Sanders in 2016. Weiner. Johnson.
She had her own ambition and lust, but she never gauges anyone else’s and adjust her course accordingly.

Does this fit Obama? or is it Hillary (one who “would be” President)?

Mr. President, learn from Ceausescu!
