In the early hours of November 9, 2016, media outlets reported Trump would secure enough votes in the Electoral College to be chosen 45th president of the United States. Hillary Clinton conceded the election later that day.Security enhancements....
Prior to Trump's return to his private residence at Trump Tower, the United States Secret Service initiated "unbelievable security measures", including closing East 56th Street to all traffic, reinforcing a cordon of sand-laden dump trucks that had been placed around the building the night before to defend the site from being rammed with a car bomb, and deploying New York City Police Department tactical teams around the skyscraper. The FAA, meanwhile, ordered a flight restriction over midtown Manhattan....
The same day, United States Secretary of Defense Ash Carter issued a memo to the United States armed forces informing them of the pending transfer of National Command Authority to a new administration. Also on November 9, the U.S. Intelligence Community began providing the full President's Daily Brief to Trump and Mike Pence.[29] By the afternoon of November 9, a U.S. government website - greatagain.gov - had been launched. The website provided information on transition procedures and information for the media.

...the Office of the President-Elect?
I heard on Levin that Trump has enlisted Christie to head his Staffing , and that Christie is bringing on Bush people by the boatload.
True? If so a lot of us will NOT be pleased.
OMG!...Was it a strong one???
Film at 11 !!
Yuh think the muzzie is going to tell Don to lay off the witch?
I’m going to continue to support him but I sure will be disappointed if he turns out to be just another rino.
If anyone wants a chance to work in the administration or the transition, the https://www.greatagain.gov/ website has all the info. Very nicely done. They’re taking applications.
Ha.....Trumps new office sure beats a few fake Styrofoam Greek columns ...just wait till Trump sets up his "OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT ELECT" at 1100 Pennsylvania Ave:
And that little stick figure out front with a bucket is the MSM begging for entry to his latest presser.
I wouldn't be surprised if President Donald J. Trump institutes a monthly full Q and A session for the entire congress....like they have in UK
to address progress and take questions.
Understand that sentiment. I am personally cutting Trump a bit of slack only because he needs to start somewhere, and Trump is not shy when it comes to firing people. We’ve rolled the dice on this guy, pray we score.
Thanks. I'm willing to apply if only for a shot at sticking it to some career bureaucrats.
If they can do their jobs and follow Trump’s lead, that shouldn’t be a problem.
If they start screwing things up, WE need to make a fuss about it and let him know that this is not okay.
He’s listened to us before during the election process, and he definitely wants his legacy to be a positive one!
And Romney people. I am very upset by this.
Well - I’m looking for a job right now, so I went ahead and applied. We’ll see - if anything comes up I’ll keep folks posted.
The application is a little funky in that most of the commissions and agencies aren’t what you would normally expect. At least not that I saw.
See post 12.
These are early days but it is certainly a good time to speculate on what Trump’s actual philosophy will turn out to be in terms of open repudiation of globalism. If he wants to maintain that theme, he won’t be able to get very far with a ship load of Bushites and Romnians.
At the same time, the ship of state won’t just turn around in a week or a month like a badly run small town might. It will take two terms at a minimum to make really significant changes. It will take at least the first two years of this first term to get things going in the right direction.
Rather than ritually bashing the RINOs, the first three months or so should probably be a time for group reflection and broad-based coalition building. The theme should be to create a reality of Trump’s vision within the widest possible segment of the Republican Party, not yet time to think about any other path forward. But it needs to be stressed that this is not just a lay-down and recycling as yet another version of Establishment Republican pretend-reform, it has to be something with a recognizable structure that resembles what Trump sold to the voters.
I am a realist and I don’t expect him to meet all those lofty goals quickly. But I sense that he is in for the long haul on the challenge involved here, which is basically to convince the entire Republican spectrum to abandon all collaboration with the globalist Democrats and create an independent, rational and anti-socialist set of policies.
Can it happen? This guy has made a lot of seemingly impossible things happen. I would not bet against him.
