The EC gives emphasis to the will of the various States by adding two votes to their Congressional House (mostly - see Mont. vs. Wyo on headcount per Representative) representation. It's not named "The United States" for nothing.

Otherwise it would be named "The United Urban Utopias of the 'Rats".

Not just in California, but all the illegals voting nationwide, the rigged voting machines that switched Trump votes to Clinton, the bus-loads of college students casting votes in states in which they did not reside, individuals registering in the names of deceased persons and then voting in their names, early voting fraud and on and on.

Trump would have easily won the popular vote without the illegals and the other fraud, and probably would have carried a number of additional states such as Virginia, New Hampshire, Minnesota, and possibly Colorado and Nevada.

Otherwise only the big states would matter in campaigning.

It's not just campaigning. It's policy.

Even deep blue and deep red states affect policy. The party and candidates must build a platform that appeals to states that combine into an EC majority.

If they didn't do so, deep blue and deep red states would turn purple, as well.

AP still hasn’t finished their map
http://interactives.ap.org/2016/general-election/?SITE=APQA

NH, Michigan and Arizona all are at 100% and they won’t turn them the darker colors and apply the electoral votes to finish the electoral vote.
Been sitting at 228/279 all day
(Maine even gave the 1 vote to Trump - and that hasn’t been tallied correctly)

Last update 6:14pm Wed EST
Trump 59,590,426 (47.5%)
Hillary 59,796,805 (47.66%)

Hillary got 1.5 million more votes in CA than Trump. More Americans voted for Trump.

So, go after all of the illegal voting; dead, multiple, illegals, general vote stuffing, etc.

there was massive fraud....we saw it....stopped some of it....but its difficult when the rats control many of the machines, the rats control in inner cities where so many votes are manufactured, when rat idiots file dozens of ballots themselves, when rat election supervisors sit in rooms by themselves and fill out absentee ballots..and when illegals and felons are allowed to vote...

It matters a tiny bit. Liberal pukes scream a president is NOT LEGITIMATE because they didn't win the popular vote.

That, plus then they whine endlessly about the need to eliminate the Electoral College. "Its just not fair" the snowflakes would say, and millions of sheeple would go along with them.

I think it would benefit Trump's transition and agenda if he assigned a team to rooting out and
correcting "errors in her favor" which no doubt occurred in dozens or hundreds of places in blue states.

Especially every blue state where the polls before the election did not jive well with the outcome.

Fixing the actual vote count THIS YEAR could lead to big VOTE-COUNTING FRAUD preventions in future elections too!

Didn’t Obama take the census and the elections process into the purview of the White House, shortly after he was elected?

Yep it's a 'Rats nest that needs to be addressed.

One has to question the inherent conflict of interest in the gov'ts running the elections that control themselves.

I've been unable to ID what other "authority" should govern the elections, but the question persists..

You know what surprised me was Florida had more voters in total than California. I guess a close race draws more than a foregone conclusion.

We should not meddle with their creation

except EV’s should be apportioned within states by congressional district...
