The White House refused to rule out Wednesday whether President Obama might grant a pardon to Hillary Clinton to spare her from President-elect Donald Trump prosecuting her after he takes office.

How can there be a pardon for a criminal act that hasn’t already reached a conviction? Pardon my ignorance of your laws, but in Canada a pardon implies that a conviction has already occurred.
Marc Rich didn’t go through a process. He just paid Bill and Hillary a million bucks and then got pardoned.

Looks like Ohole will have to pardon everybody in his administration. Rudy Giuliani needs to go after Loretta Lynch and Comey for obstruction of Justice. They did not prosecute when it was clear that they should have.
But how could Obama know that without collusion or intent?

That’s the administration’s big problem. If they don’t charge her with anything, there can be no pardon. The only way they can pardon her is if she is charged, and there’s not enough time to do that.
Obama must be so pissed at her for her recklessness and blowing the election, and therefore dismantling his entire legacy, that he probably doesn’t want to see her charged in any case. Whatever Trump might charge her with is likely OK with him.
Hillary and Bill have violated so many laws I don’t see how Trump can not prosecute them. The restoration of law and order requires no less. And Rudy Guliani must be itching to do it.
Although Comey said he could not find a reason Rudy Giuliani said he could find plenty of reasons to prosecute.
