An organization calling itself the Boston Socialist Alternative has scheduled a rally against Donald Trump for 7 p.m. at the Statehouse in Boston on Wednesday night.
Elan Axelbank, a member of the organization, said the reason behind the rally was to "come out and immediately build a movement against (Trump's) agenda."
Axelbank, a student, became involved with the group a few years ago because he was frustrated with the amount of inequality in the country.
"It is dangerous to have Donald Trump as President of the United States and the most effective way to lessen danger is to organize a movement," Axelbank said.
As of Wednesday morning, 2,500 people said they were "attending" the event and 6,400 said they were "interested" on Facebook.

It’s probably the Boston university SAE fraternity. They are very conservative, but stage fake protests after elections to mock the stupid liberals.
They did a fricking awesome fake protest demanding a recount for Dukakis and got a huge crowd ruled up just to mock them.

school with a woman who has made a bundle doing weird
fake art - hanging computers in mobiles and papier mache
sculptures. Oh, that sort of stuff won’t ever disappear;
but to me it’s a waste of paper and flour water and salt.

Legislative Plaza when Gore was trying to steal the election
back in the day when other Freepers were marching on the
polling place down in Florida where Democrats had them
locked out of the “counting” room where the “hanging” chads
were being “manipulated”. I’ll never forget the Freeper
who stood in the door’s little window with his little
Smiley Face badge showing in the window, banging on the
door and demanding that a few REPUBLICANS be allowed in to
observe.
