Mexico should be happy:

1. We will have gates for commerce, immigration, tourism and return of illegal aliens

2. They can proud of the wall they’re paying for

3. We’ll still be a good neighbor and trade partner, we just won’t be putting up with your crap

insert smiley face here.

Ponders?? What’s to ponder?? Better start liquidating assets—you’re gonna need cash to pay for that wall.

Your turn to run the establishment elitist oligarchs out of town on a rail.

Starting with Carlos Slim Helu, arguably the richest man in the world. A small family of oligarchs run Mexico, which has a very serious problem of the divide between the rich and poor.

We have to stop integration of mexico, canada and the us. They have been doing this already with border agreemets and shared forces and that is why since BushII jack squat has ben done to stop mexico. And none of our guys ever metion mexicos laws and pocedures on their illegals.

This north american union crap is globalism. When you have no borders you have no countries and that is what the globalists are all doing now with muslms and mexicans and attempting to destroy sovreign naon states through unelected global world bodies and color of law.

Actually, economic integration is vital - it just needs to be done properly.

Our economic relationship with Canada has been a huge boon to both sides, and should be used as a model.

The invasion of the United States by illegal aliens has to stop.

“I say: paint a message in Spanish on the Mexico side of the border wall saying something like:

ATTENTION!

Crossing over this border without proper permission can result in jail, prosecution and DEATH.

Trespass at your own risk!”

Or something short and sweet:

Uncle Sam says, “Get off my lawn!”

About time they realized they can't have our cake while giving our People mush.

Hope the Peso doesn't fall too far - will make the wall even more expensive for them....

I saw last night the peso dropped one half.

Actually, yesterday The Mexican peso dropped from 18.5944 pesos per dollar to 18.3226 - a drop of about 1.5%. Today it's trading at 19.7537 pesos per dollar which is very near it's year-to date-high.

Truth is, massive drug dealing and emigration have a negative impact on the Mexican economy, except for the drug cartels. And while NAFTA has been great for their balance of trade most of the profits go to giant foreign owned (mostly US) companies. Average Mexicans don't see any benefits. If Trump scraps NAFTA and the wall gives the Mexican goverment the upper hand over the cartels, his policies could very well end up benefiting the Mexican economy.

Trumps reforms are humiliating to individual Mexicans since the wall, from their perspective, says "you're not good enough to come to our country." The reforms also interfere with the reconquista of the American Southwest (see any good Mexican elementary school history text.) It's not really the economic impact that has people riled up.

I am fine for trading. We do a lot with both.

I am against a common currency like the globalist desired Amero, ie a euro currency for north america.

That is what I am talking about. Not normal trading and business between countries.

All one needs do is watch any telenovela to see who actually runs Mexico. The Spanish ruling elite are terrified of millions of 'Americanized' bees returning with expectations.

MX will fall into revolution and civil war in short order once the re-set begins.

Mexico is not a third world country. Google map Monterrey, Mexico City, etc. zoom in and move around. You’d be surprised.

If they paid attention to Trump, they’d know that he wants them to thrive, just not by exploiting us, but rather by working with us. Growth is not a zero-sum game.<<<

Absolutely! Apparently they were listening to the Clinton News Network etc with their twisted rendition of what they think Trump meant, instead of what he actually said.

I’m sure Trump will renegotiate some of these deals, but the President of Mexico really needs to learn how to manage his own house without depending upon someone else’s welfare system to bail him out.

Fox had the same kind of problem. He didn’t know how to motivate his people to be innovative and industrious. They had to leave their own country to survive and I find that to be pathetic!

Yes, GSC. Check to see whose side Mexico was on in WW I and WW II and even Korea.

I couldn't agree with you more.

Now if he will slap a %80 tax on electronic transfers to Mexico. That should solve a large part of the problem.

That's one way. Another way is to back-charge the cost of services that we provide to illegal Mexicans against the $560 million in foreign aid that we give to Mexico each year. For example Illegal Pete goes to the emergency room in Tucson because he has a cough, but he doesn't have the money to pay the $200 charge. The hospital sends the bill to Washington, who deducts $300 from the Mexican foreign aid package, remits $100 to the hospital, and uses the remaining $200 to help pay for the cost of the wall and border enforcement. Illegal Pete also sends his illegal child to public school in Tucson at a cost of $8,000 per year. The School district sends the bill to Washington, who deducts $12,000 from the Mexican foreign aid package, remits $4,000 back to the school district and applies the remaining $8,000 to the cost of the wall and border enforcement. Mexico now has a choice: It can lose millions of dollars in foreign aid per year or make a goo-faith effort stop people from crossing the border illegally.
