It is NOT accurate to say that. Trump won the game, he overcame the challenge presented him in order to become President, namely to win the Electoral College. IF the game or challenge were to win the Popular Vote, he would have done the as well. Like a boss.

nobody’s going to know the final totals for a few weeks. call it a tie in the popular vote right now. i like it. it means the state’s win. i also noticed the dem governors are now apparently down to 14 or 15. that means a constitutional convention is on the table.
Facts are, the dead and non citizen votes should not count...we won the lawful popular votes
And the irony is, the Dems had expected it to be flipped - i.e., that Trump could win the popular vote, but Hillary would be saved by her Blue Wall in the Electoral College.
How long will it be before we start hearing calls for abolition of the EC again?
My guess is the Dems will wait a few months for the public to forget, before they try to gin up the anti-Electoral College hue and cry ... again.
