Pollsters and election modelers suffered an industry-shattering embarrassment at the hands of Donald Trump on Tuesday night.
Trump had long said the polls were biased against him. His claims – dismissed and mocked by the experts – turned out to be true.
“It’s going to put the polling industry out of business,” said CNN anchor Jake Tapper. “It’s going to put the voter projection industry out of business.”
Going into Election Day, a strong majority of pollsters and election modelers forecast that Hillary Clinton would coast to victory, with many predicting she would sweep the battlegrounds and win north of 300 electoral votes.
The final University of Virginia Center for Politics model had Clinton winning 322 electoral votes to 216 for Trump, with Clinton winning Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – all states that she lost.
Liberals lashed out at data guru Nate Silver for giving Trump a 35 percent chance of victory heading into Election Day, claiming he was putting his thumb on the scale for Trump by making the race appear closer than it was.
Of the 11 national polls to be released in the final week of the race, only two – a Los Angeles Times-USC survey and one from IBD/TIPP – showed Trump with the lead.

So how many votes do you think the Dems stole when all these voting machines had that “error” of flipping Trump votes to Clinton?
This is misdirection. Many pollsters slanted their polls to suggest a Clinton win was inevitable to help her. So this isn’t an “embarrassment”, its just reality that they didn’t want to accept.

On the other hand that Professor Helmut Norpath who’s system has predicted every presidential election since 1980 and who stuck with Trump even though everybody else was laughing at him, is certainly not being laughed at today....
When the frauds are exposed it can be embarrassing.

I’m so sick of this, they polls weren’t wrong, they were deliberately set that way to discourage Trump voters but it just pissed us off more and made sure we showed up at the polls. All these folks acting shocked are hilarious, they knew, but the truth is even though the polls are fake they believe them, because they want to, have to, the need to. But they weren’t wrong, they were fake, period.

Such BS. The media knew they created false polls as directed by Hillary....now they’re trying to figure out where they went wrong. Dumb ........
I wonder how the LA Times and IBD had it correct from the beginning?
Exactly. All they want is to figure out how to finesse their polls, in future elections, to make their propaganda work. Until they manage to figure that out, they have to keep pretending to be embarassed when their propaganda polls aren’t borne out by results.
