I think the same thing myself. At least I got some years in when this country was great. But everything cycles, it is unrealistic to think things would be great forever. The good news is, America is still full of Americans (hard working, self sufficient, honest and good people) so it will come back, but our kids and grandkids will tell theirs about they tough times they lived through to provide the good times theirs are born into.
Sorry to be so down but the thought of four more years of this crap, and possibly worse, is challenging to say the least.
If I had had children and grandkids I’m afraid the burden would be heavier. It’s already hard enough for me to see younger adults in my neighborhood and at work dealing with the way things are.
