Former Clinton Attorney General Janet Reno dies at 78

The country's first female attorney general, Bill Clinton-appointee Janet Reno, died Monday morning after a decades-long fight against Parkinson's disease, her sister Maggy Hurchalla told CNN.

Reno, who passed away at 78, served in the Clinton Administration from 1993 to 2001. The Department of Justice pursued a series of noteworthy convictions while she was in office, including for "Unabomber" Ted Kaczynski; Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols for the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing; and Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman for bombing the World Trade Center in 1993.

Her tenure was marked some significant controversies, including a decision during her first days in office to raid a Waco, Texas compound that resulted in the death of about 80 members of the Branch Davidian religious group. She later expressed regret for the decision she made that ended the 51-day standoff, and said it was "obviously wrong."

“The branch davidians did not shoot anyone.”
I guess you missed the video where the swat officers on the roof were getting fired at from the INSIDE of the compound.
Koresh was a wacko, but he could have been arrested at the Whataburger in Waco on any morning.
It was a cluster fudge created by the Clinton crime syndicate, pray we don’t experience another 4 years of their criminality.

Just the best news ever. And I never say that about a death, but she was responsible for a lot of death of for no good reason. Waco and Ruby Ridge both killed innocent children and innocent adults. Shooting and killing a 15 year old trying to protect his dog. Shooting and killing a mother holding her baby. All the children burned to death in Waco.

BURN IN HELL JANET.

I'm sure the eighty dead - murdered - were comforted by that. Reno was an incompetent like so many others in the Clinton cabinet. They were chosen for their incompetence. That way, there was no danger of them outshining the boss and the boss' wife. I'll leave it at that and simply say RIP.

Janet leapt from the frying pan into the fire. It must suck to be her.

Hallelujah! Now she can get her reward and receive justice for what she did to the infants and children at Mount Carmel [Waco].

“One witch down, one more to go. “

Yeah, just home we don’t have to wait until HIllary reaches 78. Now would be just fine. OTOH maybe some suffering would be a good thing.

It has been said that while the grist mill of God’s Justice extremely slow, they also grind exceedingly fine.
