I am in CA and I was wondering if you are covered in your standard Home Owner’s Insurance? We have to pay for separate insurance for Earthquake—run by our state-all funds in Lock Box(Yea,sure).

I don’t think it’s covered on standard policy. I’m also not sure you can buy it here. Guess It’s time to start finding out

I was just reading Clif High's November web bot write up. He says the data indicates the "expando earth" and regular "shudders" are going to break up the fracked areas under the midsection of the country. Look for subsidence of roads and buildings. My son, grandson and close friends live in the Shawnee/Asher area. A bit south of the current "action" for now.

If Hillary wins I wouldn’t be surprised if the New Madrid and San Andres let loose at the same time.

“Are authorities sure the injections are a direct cause of the “quakes ?””

So what? These mini anthropogenic “quakes”, if at all, are only superficial. Oklahoma NEEDS oil or they are the poorest State economically. During oil boom, OK is awesome. Oil bust causes some gubmint skool budgets trim down, but OK survives for the most part.

Standard homeowners insurance doesn’t cover earthquake damage. I live about 25 miles southwest of Oklahoma City, house really shook from last night’s earthquake. Felt like something was repeatedly bumping the house. We have earthquake insurance supplement, premiums are low, deductible is high.

We were downgraded to a 5.0. It’s so humiliating, The Donald would have given me all 6’s.

I just read that Oklahoma authorities have ordered the shut down of all the frack water disposal wells in the state.
Maybe they’re on to something...

Waste water disposal was lubricating the fault, relieving stress and preventing massive single quake. Thousands of 3s, hundreds of 4s and dozens of 5s are much better than a single 7.0, which would destroy the entire State. Perhaps they want the State to get a big one so it turns blue.

That’s a theory I’d subscribe to. 5.0 is a bit of a hammer, though.
I wonder why no quakes up around Calgary where fraking has been going on for decades ?
